Jane Barrett

Career Coach, Executive Coach, Speaker & Author

Jane brings over 20 years of expertise in developing careers and is a guest lecturer at UK and European business schools, including INSEAD, EMST, WHU Kellogg, Judge Business School (Cambridge University) and Leeds University among others. Her impact extends beyond individual coaching through book Taking Charge of Your Career (Bloomsbury) and her online course Career Maximiser, which has supported over 20,000 students

Combining her extensive background in headhunting with career coaching, Jane brings a unique perspective to help organisations develop their people and scale their impact.

Jane was the first in her family to attend university, where she studied Land Management before qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor. She transitioned into recruitment, working with PwC and a leading search firm, but grew frustrated seeing talented applicants miss opportunities because they often couldn’t articulate their value with clarity and confidence.

This frustration led Jane to retrain as a career coach, spending the next 20+ years coaching top talent at business schools and working with organisations to develop their executives. She has a Diploma in Executive Coaching with the AoEC.
